1. Create A Photo Message by taking a photo with your own AIDSAware message or download the AIDSAware messages here (English, BM & Chinese)
2. Upload your Photo Message HERE to the folder "AIDSAware Messages" (you will need to sign up first) or just share it on our Facebook page.

WHY?
To highlight that 13,000 people have died from AIDS to date in Malaysia, and to create further awareness on HIV/AIDS prevention by displaying & sharing these Photo Messages to the public online. Selected photo Messages collected will be displayed in the AIDSAware Exhibition in the Gardens, Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur from 24th February til 13th March 2011.

This project came about when ruumz & PTF was thinking of how awareness on HIV & AIDS, especially on prevention, discrimination and debunking myths and misunderstandings about the disease, can be created without any budget, by relying on on the Internet and a dedicated Social Charity Platform like ruumzcauses. How everyone can participate, messages can be created and passed without talking down to anyone, and through a guerilla, people driven approach. This is what came out, and it's still being refined everyday, to be a better campaign, to be more effective, and to hopefully change how we deal with issues by being the difference ourselves, rather than just relying on others and the Government alone. |

AIDSAware是一项旨在提升民众对爱滋病醒觉的运动。我们希望每一位支持这项醒觉运动的朋友都成为“AIDSAware讯息”，一起来暂缓并停止HIV/AIDS的蔓延。我们的目标是收集13,000个讯息，以提醒自己已经有13,000位大马人因为爱滋病而失去生命。
如何传达AIDSAware讯息？
1. 从"aidsaware sample messages"中选择AIDSAware讯息或自创防范爱滋病蔓延的讯息。AIDSAware讯息可下载自：http://james.ruumz.com/myFiles/Default.aspx?fid=170
2. 拍下你或友人拿着“讯息”的照片。
3. 加入hash (#) tag #AIDSAware，通过ruumz交友网络、facebook面子书、twitter微博传送照片twitpic……越出位的照片越好，总之把AIDSAware讯息传出去就对了！
4. 加入AIDSAware.ruumz.com，上载你的讯息照片到AIDSAware Messages以示支持！
加入ruumz免费会员，成为AIDSAware的一份子，点击本页上方的"join this cause"加入我们的行列！
如果成功达成目标，我们希望把大家的AIDSAware讯息照片展示在首都吉隆坡某个公共场合（地点未定），成为AIDSAware的纪念作品。
